Burgundie Spears is a gift to the community. She selflessly gives every year of her time, energy and resources to help those in need.  She is the visionary behind Christmas In Richmond, Christmas In Vallejo & Christmas in Oakland.  She gives without asking for anything in return, and works tirelessly to ensure that thousands of families freely receive gifts and food on Christmas day, and throughout the year. Christmas in Richmond has received various accolades and awards for their outstanding community involvement and concern for their neighbors for the past seven years.
